Afrah Foundation is a registered public charitable trust founded by Mr. Mohammad Maquesood Alam and family, inspired by the life and strength of Afrah Alam — a young woman who faced blood cancer with grace and courage, and left us on 16th December 2025.
The Foundation transforms a personal loss into a mission of hope — working for the educational advancement, healthcare access, and empowerment of underprivileged girls, youth, and vulnerable communities across Bihar.
Afrah Alam was a symbol of courage, grace, and quiet strength. A bright young graduate full of promise, she faced life's toughest battle against blood cancer with resilience and dignity.
She left us on 16th December 2025, but her spirit continues to inspire a mission far greater than ourselves. Afrah Foundation is not just an institution — it is a living tribute to her compassion, her dreams, and her unwavering strength.
