Donation Questions

How do I get my 80G donation receipt?
After making your donation (bank transfer or UPI), please email a screenshot of the transaction along with your full name, PAN number, postal address, and donation amount to foundationafrah@gmail.com. Your official donation receipt with 80G certificate will be issued within 7 working days.
Is my donation 100% tax-deductible?
Under Section 80G, donations to Afrah Foundation are eligible for tax deduction. The exact percentage of deduction depends on the prevailing income tax rules and your tax bracket. Please consult your chartered accountant or tax advisor for the exact amount applicable to your situation.
Can I donate from outside India?
At present, Afrah Foundation accepts donations from Indian residents. We do not currently hold FCRA registration required for accepting foreign contributions. Please email us at foundationafrah@gmail.com for any specific queries.
Can I sponsor a specific child or program?
Yes. We welcome targeted contributions for specific programs (education, healthcare, women empowerment, skill development) or to sponsor a specific child's education. Please reach out to our manager at +91 91353-76960 to discuss sponsorship options.
Are there any administrative fees deducted?
No. Afrah Foundation operates without a profit motive. Trustees serve in an honorary capacity, and 100% of your donation goes toward charitable activities. The trust accounts are audited annually for full transparency.
How is my donation utilised?
Your donation supports our active programs — sponsoring children's school fees, distributing food and ration kits to vulnerable families, providing sewing machines to women for livelihood, organising health camps, and offering legal & social aid to underprivileged communities across Bihar.
